Our testimonials are always very complementary

“Dear Margi  – Many thanks for the report you wrote it was quite heart warming to see that you had made such a carefully observed and detailed assessment with a plan of action. We have now joined SMIRA and are following your other suggestions…..” M…. (Parent)

4 year old with Selective mutism and dyspraxia

“Thank you for the exercises, yes, I am doing them, they are definitely helping, see what you think when you visit next.” S…. (Client)

A University Student before her second appointment:

“Hi Margi – I did receive the report – thank you, it is very informative and helpful. F…… is making progress with his speaking slowly and loves his new mirror! I would love you to come and see him again in a couple of weeks if possible.” B…

3 year old with speech sound difficulties:

…….. and a year later   ….

“I was only thinking of you the other day when I was sorting through some papers and found your report on F. He’s doing great. After your help he was soon talking nineteen to the dozen and hasn’t stopped since! He’s got a bit of a lisp but i think it will work itself out. He’s absolutely charming and very out going and confident. ”B…… (Parent)

“Many thanks for this Margi! L….. has done well and has enjoyed her sessions with you – she became more and more excitable as she got to know you and her confidence was high! We are pleased with how she has progressed and impressed at her scores. She is a bright girl who I am sure will do well. Many thanks for all your work with L…….”  L….(Parent)

6 year old with grommets fitted:

“Hi Margi.  It seems that as suspected you are our star expert witness! …….  Well done and thanks again for your support – we won on all points.

The kind of praise in the Decision (for an expert) is very unusual so I am very glad that S…… chose you. Thanks again for your efforts …..   a ‘big part’ of what seems to be a very likely victory came down to your input. ….. I’ll recommend you to any families who may need your help with their case.” N…. (Legal Representative)

A tribunal case:

“This term has been great. We have seen a lot of improvement in H… and J…. and the other children in the group. E….. [the SLA] feels confident to work with them now that she understands their needs better and how to help them understand the key vocabulary of a lesson. Please will you do further training for all the Assistants? We want to set aside an hour of your time each week for the next half term for this”. (SENCO.)
